Christmas DIY: Edible Gifts

For my last post of the DIY Christmas gift series, I have found a tantalising collection of recipes for creating edible gifts.  We all have foodie friends (that's what we call ourselves because it sounds better than glutton!) who would appreciate a delicious gift, and they're also great to store up as last minute gifts for unexpected guests or people you have (shock, horror!) forgotten about.  These edible gifts are great all year round, so don't just wait for Christmas to whip them up!!!

Christmas DIY: Upcycling

You should all know by now how much I love to make upcycled creations, so you won't be surprised to see today's post!  Upcycled gifts aren't for everyone, but I'm sure we all have loved ones who would gratefully receive a vintage recreation.

Christmas DIY: Beading

Yes, yes, yes, on our second last day of the Christmas DIY series, I have put together a roundup of beading tutorials!  You were waiting for this since I am a jewellery, right?  I know most people think of beads as being part of a predominantly female domain, but I have found some beaded goodies for you to make for the males in your life.  :)

Christmas DIY: Papercraft

I love creating with paper because it is easily available, comes in a wide range of colours and designs, and is usually quite affordable.  Paper creations are also an easy way to introduce children to the world of creating.  Today's Christmas DIY roundup includes papercrafts for a range of skill levels - enjoy!

Mixed Media Collage (okay, this one isn't just paper!)

Tissue Paper Art (great for little ones to make as gifts)

Christmas DIY: Crochet

diy christmas gifts tutorial roundup

I had so much fun putting together my handmade Christmas gift guide a few weeks back, that I have decided to dedicate this week's posts to do it yourself Christmas gifts.  Making your own gifts is a good idea for those who have run out of time to purchase handmade online (hands up how many of you do your Christmas shopping on Christmas eve???) and for those who have a specific idea in their head but can't find anyone who makes it.  I'm starting with crochet tutorials, because you all know how much I love to crochet, but keep coming back each day to find a new set of great tutorials I have found.
